3- Day Safari— Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire National Park

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, our kids experienced an unforgettable trip to a wildlife preserve. This hands-on learning experience sparked curiosity and deepened their appreciation for their own backyard.

This year, we’re hoping to build on that momentum with a meaningful 3-day Safari Adventure.

Our plan includes one full day at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural classroom unlike any other, where students can observe diverse ecosystems and wildlife thriving together. We also hope to visit Tarangire National Park, famous for its remarkable elephant herds and extraordinary variety of bird species.

This won’t just be sightseeing. Our kids will actively document the animals they encounter: taking notes, sketching, photographing, and recording observations in field journals. When they return home, they’ll use their observations to research the species they saw, study animal behavior and habitats, and present what they’ve learned. The safari becomes the foundation for weeks of continued learning, critical thinking, and discovery.

We truly cannot wait to watch their curiosity come alive and we’re so grateful for the support that makes opportunities like this possible.

Our budget is about $300/per child and staff member. We are budgeting for 30 kids/staff.
